Shipping Terms
These Shipping Terms describe how Beach House processes orders, provides delivery estimates, handles address issues, and responds to shipping-related concerns.
1. Order Processing
Most approved orders are processed within 1–2 business days, excluding weekends, public holidays, and unusual peak-volume periods. Processing refers to the time needed to review the order, confirm details, prepare the package, and transfer the shipment to the selected carrier or logistics provider.
Processing times may be extended during holiday periods, severe weather events, seasonal demand spikes, supplier delays, inventory verifications, or if additional customer confirmation is required before shipment can proceed.
2. Shipping Methods and Carrier Selection
Beach House may use one or more third-party carriers to deliver orders. The shipping method selected for a given order may depend on destination, package size, inventory location, service reliability, and other practical fulfillment considerations.
Carrier choice may change without prior notice if needed to improve delivery success, reduce delays, or accommodate operational constraints.
3. Delivery Estimates
Any delivery date, transit window, or shipping estimate provided by Beach House is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed arrival date unless Beach House expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed service level. Transit performance depends on factors outside of our direct control.
Estimated delivery timing may be affected by weather conditions, carrier network congestion, regional events, customs procedures, incorrect address information, restricted access, force majeure events, and other logistical interruptions.
4. Address Accuracy and Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at the time an order is confirmed. This includes recipient name, street address, apartment or unit details, city, state or region, postal code, country, and any carrier-relevant delivery notes if appropriate.
Beach House is not responsible for delays, delivery failures, additional fees, or losses caused by incomplete, outdated, incorrect, or improperly formatted address information supplied by the customer.
5. Failed Delivery Attempts and Returned Packages
If a shipment is undeliverable, refused, unclaimed, or returned due to an address issue or unsuccessful delivery attempts, Beach House may contact the customer to arrange redelivery or review next steps. Additional shipping costs may apply where the failure was not caused by Beach House.
Returned packages may be subject to handling, reshipment, or restocking considerations depending on the condition of the returned goods and the nature of the failed delivery.
6. Title, Risk, and Shipment Issues
Once an approved order has been transferred to a carrier, delivery timing and handling are influenced by third-party logistics performance. Beach House will provide reasonable assistance with shipment-related questions, but carrier transit remains partly outside our direct control.
If a package appears significantly delayed, misrouted, or lost, customers should contact Beach House promptly so we can help review tracking details, communicate with the carrier where appropriate, and determine the most reasonable next step.
7. Damaged Shipments
If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, customers should document the condition of the package and product as soon as possible and contact Beach House promptly. Photographs of the outer packaging, labels, and product damage can greatly assist review.
Damage claims may depend on carrier procedures, packaging review, and the timing of the customer’s report. Beach House will evaluate the issue in good faith and may offer a replacement, refund review, or other suitable remedy when appropriate.
8. Shipping Restrictions
Some items may not be eligible for shipment to certain locations due to carrier limitations, geographic restrictions, import rules, packaging constraints, or other practical considerations. Beach House reserves the right to limit, delay, or decline shipping to locations that cannot be served reliably or lawfully.
If a shipping restriction affects an order, Beach House may contact the customer to discuss alternative options where feasible.
9. International Shipments
For international orders, customers may be responsible for customs duties, VAT, GST, import taxes, brokerage fees, or related government charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are generally outside the control of Beach House and are not included in product pricing unless expressly stated.
International deliveries may also involve extended transit times, customs inspections, and local clearance requirements that can result in delays beyond any estimated delivery window.
10. Seasonal and Force Majeure Delays
Beach House is not responsible for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, labor disruptions, public emergencies, transportation interruptions, government restrictions, customs backlog, cyber incidents affecting carriers, or other force majeure events.
During such periods, Beach House will make commercially reasonable efforts to communicate with customers and support order visibility, but guaranteed timing may not be possible.
11. Split Shipments and Stock Allocation
Where practical and appropriate, Beach House may ship items together or separately depending on inventory position, packaging efficiency, and fulfillment timing. In some cases, a multiple-item order may arrive in separate shipments if that improves speed or availability.
Beach House reserves the right to make operational decisions regarding shipment grouping, provided the customer receives the approved merchandise or an appropriate resolution if stock becomes unavailable.
